Innovation and technology transfer

Innovation

At our Innovation Open Days, representatives of small to medium-sized companies can swap ideas about their planned innovation project with the technology transfer managers for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Stuttgart Region in in-person meetings lasting 20 to 25 minutes. The technology transfer managers can provide initial information to answer specific questions relating to technical development or new technologies. The meeting can also be used to obtain general information about public financing aids, funding and product copyright. The technology transfer managers discuss - tailored to the company’s individual situation - what funding options are available as information or cooperation offers. They are happy to research suitable experts in research institutions or research companies.
This advice is non-binding and free-of-charge. You can also approach out contacts at any time on days other than the open days to arrange a tailored meeting.

Technology transfer

Many companies from the region are represented on the global markets and make a major contribution to Germany’s economic power with their products and services. This position can only be maintained and expanded if a constant technology transfer from science into the economy is used to ensure that the companies remain innovative. This is the aim of the service offers of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Stuttgart Region, which aims specifically to support the technology transfer between science and small to medium-sized companies.
