Welcome to the website of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rostock (Industrie- und Handelskammer zu Rostock). We represent about 36,000 businesses of all sizes from our region in northern Germany.
In Germany, the main objective of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – or “Industrie- und Handelskammer” (IHK) in German – is to promote its members’ interests to the public and to policy makers on the state and federal level. In addition, we provide a wide range of services to established enterprises as well as up-and-coming start-ups. And we have been assigned various administrative responsibilities by the state and the federal government, for example managing the German vocational training system.
