For International Skilled Workers, Trainees and Students

You are an international skilled worker, already living in Hesse or Central Hesse — or you are planning to move to this region for work? You are interested in starting vocational training or a degree program, or you are already studying at one of the region’s universities?
At this moment we warmly welcome you!
We understand that you may have many questions and might not know which steps to take first.
The team at WELCOMECENTER Mittelhessen is happy to support and guide you and your family through your immigration process, your arrival, and your integration into the job market and our region.
Every person gets its individual advices. For specific topics, we also refer you to our partner network in the region and at the state level. At the WELCOMECENTER, we can advise you in German, English, French and Spanish on the following topics:
- Visa and residence regulations
- Recognition of professional qualifications
- Job search and applications
- Companies in the regional job market
- Vocational training opportunities
- German language courses
- Administrative procedures, insurance, and banking
- Finding a new home
- Family matters (family reunification, schools, kindergardens, etc.)
- Cultural and leisure activities
Feel free to contact us by phone or email. Appointments — also available virtually — can be arranged in advance.
We look forward to meeting you!
