WELCOMECENTER Central Hesse
Nice to meet you! Welcome and feel at home in Central Hesse!
This is the central center for contacts, service, and advisory for international professionals, skilled workers, executives, trainees, and students - as well as for their families. We also support companies, businesses, and public institutions across all sectors in Central Hesse as long as they are interested in employing, training, and integrating international personnel both professionally and socially.
We offer a wide range of advisory services and events. For any question about living, working, or studying in our diverse region, feel free to contact us.
We provide information and guidance in German, English, French and Spanish —via video, phone, or email.
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Friday: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
Counseling out of these time frames is available by appointment.
About the WELCOMECENTER
The WELCOMECENTER Mittelhessen has been operated by the IHK Lahn-Dill since June 1, 2025. This service is offered all over Central Hesse.
It is a joint initiative to secure skilled labor in Hesse, supported by the Hessian Ministry of Labor, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Lahn-Dill, Regionalmanagement Mittelhessen GmbH, and the Federal Employment Agency (Regional Directorate Hesse, Employment Agency Limburg – Wetzlar).
The WELCOMECENTER acts as an ambassador for Hesse—especially for the Central Hesse region—and represents a culture of genuine hospitality. So, it is an important part in reducing the big lack of skilled workers in Hesse and in the region. We cowork closely and in a spirit of trust with all regional partners and institutions, as well as with stakeholders at the state level.
