For everyone to benefit fully from them we need a shared data platform. That’s why we’ve created the HERE location platform. It allows developers and organizations to access our maps and technology and creates new location-centric products.

Our expanding database includes 3D maps and live traffic from across our road and transportation networks, as well as data on millions of places. We update these complex information models using billions of data points we gather every day and apply machine learning to support rapid map update cycles. The aim is for our map to serve as a geospatial model that aids vehicles, drones, on-demand mobility services, precise indoor and outdoor goods tracking and other advanced services. HERE is backed by Audi, Bosch, BMW, Continental, Daimler, Intel, Pioneer, Mitsubishi Corporation and NTT as investors.
