There is a need for more effective dispute resolution mechanisms for businesses, which has motivated the Go to Mediation! EU-project's initiators and partners to foster Mediation.

The Hamburg rules of mediation for economic conflicts govern mediation proceedings for voluntary, extrajudicial conflict resolution. Our rules of procedure explain how this procedure works.

We recommend that you incorporate a mediation clause into your contracts. A model clause is shown here.

You can find out the costs of a mediator under the rules on fees for the Mediation Centre here. The costs are usually split between the parties.
