etracker website analysis

Our website uses the analysis service etracker (etracker GmbH, Erste Brunnenstrasse 1, 20459 Hamburg, Germany).
The provider of this website uses services of etracker GmbH from Hamburg, Germany https://www.etracker.com to analyse usage data. Cookies are used that enable a statistical analysis of the use of this website by its visitors as well as the display of use-related content and advertising. The data generated with etracker is processed and stored by etracker exclusively in Germany on behalf of the provider of this website and is thus subject to the strict German and European data protection laws and standards. In this respect, etracker was independently audited, certified and awarded the https://www.eprivacy.eu/kunden/vergebene-siegel/firma/etracker-gmbh/ data protection seal of approval.

iFrame integration of the Twitter feed

The Twitter feed (Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA) is integrated into our website. Twitter International Company, One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2 D02 AX07, Ireland, is responsible for the processing of data of persons living outside the United States.
Twitter uses Twitter buttons or widgets integrated into websites and cookies to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Twitter profile. On the basis of this data, content and advertising can be tailored and offered to you. Because Twitter Inc. is a non-European provider with a European subsidiary only in Ireland, it is not bound by German data protection regulations in its own reading. This concerns, for instance, your rights to information, blocking or deletion of data and the possibility of objecting to the use of data for advertising purposes.

Google Maps map service

On our website we use Google Maps (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) in various places to display maps and to create route maps. By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of the data collected automatically and the data you have entered by Google, one of its representatives or third-party providers.
The terms of use for Google Maps can be found under Terms of Use for Google Maps and the privacy policy under Data Privacy Protection for Google.
Google may transfer the information obtained by Google Maps to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. It cannot be ruled out that Google may associate your IP address with other Google data. It is technically possible that Google could use the data obtained to identify at least individual users. We have no influence on the processing of personal data or personality profiles of users of the Google website for other purposes. You can easily deactivate the Google Maps service to prevent data transfer to Google. To do this, deactivate JavaScript in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use the map display. By integrating GoogleMaps into our website, Google Maps can also set cookies.

Display of YouTube videos

We have included videos from YouTube (YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc. based in 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).
We have embedded our videos in the ‘extended data protection mode’ to enable you to view them in a data protection-friendly manner. When you play the videos, a connection to a YouTube server is established. This will transmit to YouTube which of our websites you have visited. If you are logged in as a YouTube member, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account. When using the service, such as clicking the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your YouTube user account and other user accounts of YouTube LLC and Google Inc. and deleting the corresponding cookies of the companies before using our website. For more information on data processing and YouTube’s data privacy policy, please visit www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
By integrating YouTube videos into our website, YouTube can also set cookies.

Social bookmarks

As far as IHK24 is concerned, no social media plug-ins are set, but rather so-called social bookmarks. These are only included on an IHK24 website as a link to the corresponding services. After clicking on the integrated graphic, the user is forwarded to the page of the respective provider. In addition, if an Internet page is forwarded via the ‘Share this content’ button, it is possible that that Internet page will become visible on Twitter, Facebook, etc. and can be viewed there as an activity in the user’s profile.

The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce uses the technical platform and services of Twitter Inc. 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA, for the short message service offered here. Twitter International Company, One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2 D02 AX07, Ireland, is responsible for the processing of data of persons living outside the United States.
We would like to point out that you use the Twitter short message service offered here and its functions under your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. sharing, rating).
Information on what data is processed by Twitter and for what purposes can be found in the Twitter privacy policy: https://twitter.com/de/privacy.
Twitter Inc. is committed to the principles of the EU-US Privacy Shield. More information can be found at: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TORzAAO&status=Active.
The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce has no influence on the type and scope of data processed by Twitter, the type of processing and use, or the passing on of this data to third parties. Nor does it have any effective means of control in this respect. By using Twitter, your personal information is collected, transmitted, stored, disclosed and used by Twitter Inc. and is transferred to, stored and used in the United States, Ireland and any other country in which Twitter Inc. does business, regardless of where you live. On the one hand, Twitter thereby processes your voluntarily entered data such as name and username, email address, telephone number or the contacts in your address book when you upload or synchronise it. On the other hand, Twitter also evaluates the content you share to determine what topics you are interested in, stores and processes confidential messages that you send directly to other users and can determine your location using GPS data, wireless network information or your IP address to send you advertising or other content.
Twitter Inc. may use analysis tools such as Twitter and Google Analytics for analysis. The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce has no influence on the use of such tools by Twitter Inc. and has not been informed about such potential use. If tools of this kind are used by Twitter Inc. for the account of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce has not commissioned, approved or supported this in any other way. Nor are the data obtained during the analysis made available to us. Only certain, non-personal information about the tweet activity, such as the number of profile or link clicks through a specific tweet, can be viewed by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce via its account. Furthermore, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce has no way to prevent or disable the use of such tools on its Twitter account.
Finally, Twitter also receives information if you view content, for example, even if you have not created an account. This so-called log information may include the IP address, browser type, operating system, information about the previously accessed website and pages, your location, your mobile operator, the terminal you are using (including device ID and application ID), the search terms you are using and cookie information.
You can restrict the processing of your data in the general settings of your Twitter account and under ‘Privacy and security’. In addition, you can restrict Twitter access to contact and calendar data, photos, location data, etc. on mobile devices (smartphones, tablet computers) in the settings options there. However, this depends on the operating system used. More information on these issues can be found on the following Twitter support pages:
You can find out more about the possibility of viewing your own data on Twitter here:
Information on Twitter’s conclusions about you can be found here:
Information on the available personalisation and data protection settings can be found here (with further references):
You also have the option of requesting information via the Twitter data protection form or the archive requirements:
The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce also processes your data. It does not collect any data about your Twitter account. However, the data you enter on Twitter, in particular your username and the content published on your account, will be processed by us in so far as we retweet or reply to your tweets or create tweets ourselves that refer to your account. The data freely published and distributed by you on Twitter will thus be included in our offer and made accessible to our followers.

Facebook

Our website contains a ‘Share this content’ button from Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. Facebook is a social network. The respective ‘Share’ button can be recognised by its Facebook logo.
Please note that you use this Facebook page and its functions under your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating).
When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook collects your IP address and other information available on your computer in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us as the operator of the Facebook page with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. Facebook provides more information on this via the following link:
The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Facebook Ltd. and, if necessary, transferred to countries outside the European Union. Facebook describes in general terms what information it receives and how it is used in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact Facebook and how to set up advertisements.
The data use guidelines are available via the following link:
The complete data guidelines of Facebook can be found here:
The manner in which Facebook uses the data from visiting Facebook pages for its own purposes, the extent to which activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively or clearly named by Facebook and is not known to us.
When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is made anonymous (for ‘German’ IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about its users’ end devices (e.g. as part of the ‘Login notification’ function); Facebook may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users.
If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, there is a cookie with your Facebook ID on your device. This enables Facebook to understand that you visited this page and how you used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons integrated into websites allow Facebook to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. On the basis of this data, content and advertising can be tailored and offered to you.
To prevent this, you should log out of Facebook or disable the ‘Stay signed in’ feature, delete the cookies present on your device and exit and restart your browser. Doing this will delete Facebook information that can immediately identify you. This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook account. When you access interactive features on the site (liking, commenting, sharing, news, etc.), a Facebook login screen appears. Once you have logged in, Facebook will recognise you as a specific user again.
For information about how to manage or delete existing information about you, please visit the following Facebook support pages:
The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce also processes your data. It does not collect any data about your Facebook account. However, the data you enter on Facebook, in particular your username and the content published on your account, will be processed by us in so far as we comment on your posts or reply to them or create posts ourselves that refer to your account. The data freely published and distributed by you on Facebook is thus included in our offer and made accessible to other users.
