“Many years ago, I obtained a scholarship from the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung, with which I had the opportunity to come to Germany and continue my university studies. I never imagined the impact that this experience would have on my life, both personally and professionally. During the more than ten years living in Germany I have realized the challenges that foreign qualified personnel face when it comes to getting a job. If we talk about integration, it´s not just about finding an employer; this process entails many other factors. As director of the Northern Black Forest Welcome Center it is of crucial importance to me to provide qualified staff as well as international students and trainees with satisfactory advice in order to find their individual path. Another of our pillars is constant advice to regional companies regarding the integration of their employees into the company. Direct contact with various actors in the region also plays an important role in this process.”

“Since October 2019, I have been working as a consultant for the Welcome Center at the Nagold office and in particular for the Calw district and the Freudenstadt district. Due to my previous long experience as a lawyer specializing in labor law, I am very familiar with the concerns of employees and employers, internal business processes and the labor law problems within employment relationships. Advising international professionals as well as small and medium-sized companies and craft businesses has therefore been part of my daily business for a long time. It gives me great pleasure to work as an advisor and mediate and to support regional companies and international specialists in networking.”
