documentus Berlin is a full-service provider for everything to do with data protection such as document destruction, data carrier destruction, archiving of files and digitisation of files. Founded in 1991, we are part of the documentus-group, the market leader for document destruction in Germany and a cooperation of medium-sized family companies. 

Our customers come from all sectors, financial, health or insurance sector, administration, public institutions and industry. We have over 6,000 clients in Berlin, the company group has more than 50,000 in Germany. The field of document destruction became increasingly important in the 1990s due to stricter data protection laws, waste regulations and the requirement for recycling. Our company is part of the circular economy, e.g. shredded files are used to make sanitary paper. Since the world of work is becoming ever more digital, we have become active over the years in the field of hard drive destruction and also in the field of scan services.
